Rosato comes to the end

All along the play, you can see how deep each caracters are. Going from Lucianno, the boy ,who is so proud of his father and kind of refuses to let his father go, to Carmiena, a woman full of love for a man who is starting to fall apart because he is touched by Alzheimer. That is sure that we can relate all the play to the main theme, the family. How a disease that is affecting a loved one makes revive the true meaning of family? We can see clearly how it affects siblings, their rivalty to the love of their father and how they can stand together to go through such a hard situation. This play let us think too about the effects of aging, all the disease that are waiting us in our old days and it is kind of preparing us to deal with it. Just for example, how frustrating will it be to know you’re loosing your memory? There are so much themes in this plsy like, symbols, with the table that Sylvio built many years ago for Carmiena. We can also talk about the importance to go foward in life, to never give up and never let your dream go and wander. Finaly, today, immigrants are facing the same kind of problems. They need to find a job to help their family, usualy, passing through the imigration makes the family closer and stronger. But today, there are much more ways to help them and the government is giving them tools to live by us and to have an happy life. But the Rosato family shows us a good lesson of life about family and like Sylvio Rosato would say “ Keep going foward”!
